This month we are excited to introduce you to Kara Miller as we continue our Let's Talk Style question and answer series.  Kara Miller is owner of Kara Miller Interiors in Jupiter, Florida. They specialize in new builds and large scale renovations. Her favorite pastimes are going to the beach, tending to her rose garden and weekend adventures with her Doodle, Molly.

How would you describe your style? Comfortable and breezy.

What is the best style advice you’ve ever gotten? I think it’s important to stay true to yourself and what you like. You have to be comfortable in what you are wearing. Life is way too short to wear anything painful!

Who is the last person you followed on Instagram? Gippy Plantation. It is a young couple who are restoring a South Carolina plantation home. I started my career doing renovations so I have a heart for preservationists.

Your go-to playlist on Pandora or Spotify? Yacht Rock Radio on Pandora.

What item in your closet do you wear the most? Any long, flowy dress.

What is your favorite store to shop for clothes? J Crew and Matches

Where can you find the best tee shirt? Madewell

Which items in your wardrobe do you think are worth the big-investment dollars and which items do you think are the best to save money when purchasing? A classic white button down is an ok splurge in my book.

What’s one item you can’t live without? Lip gloss!

How would you elevate the look of t-shirt and jeans with jewelry? Definitely with a great pair or earrings or a fabulous bracelet.

What pieces of jewelry do you have on no matter where you are going?  I always wear a necklace with a petite gold cross and my Mom’s original wedding band. I am incredibly sentimental.
